#22 - 3.21Km Lifeboat Road, Formby Beach
#liverpoolwinterwalks Meander
(26th February 2019)
Yesterday we combined a visit to "The DaisyChain" - http://www.seftoncancersupport.org.uk/ - a Sefton Cancer Support Group that's a registered charity based in Formby and serves the population of Sefton.
"The DaisyChain provides support to Cancer Sufferers and their Carers, attempting to fill support gaps alongside other voluntary groups in Sefton and the Merseyside area."
Providing...
- Friendship and a listening ear
- Emotional and moral support
- Experience of cancer
- Caring and home visits
- 24-hour telephone contact
As for our walk, we started at the junction of Kirklake Road & St Lukes Church Road.
That's unusual for us, mainly because the parking at that end of the coast, was run by Sefton Council; now it's the National Trust, so for us FREE PARKING!
"I'm sure we'll be visiting that end again."
